How do I measure my lens for a Burley Cameras lens cap?
For the perfect fit, please use digital calipers in the method shown below in the video and photo. Measuring several times reduces the chance of error and lets me know whether your lens barrel/hood is mishapen. If you do not already own digital calipers, they can be bought for as little as £10.
Please measure around your lens barrel three times as shown in the video. e.g. 80.35mm, 80.37mm, 80.32mm. Please also supply me with the depth to rim/shoulder (if applicable, otherwise I will choose an appropriate depth). e.g. 12.72mm Please supply me with these measurements on the options form after clicking "add to cart".
