If you have seen my replacement wooden handles for the Pentax 6x7 67 67II grip but have been wondering how exactly you swap the wooden handle section out, then wonder no more! Here is my fitting guide with some additional commentary.

NEW for April 2021 - All replacement wooden handles now comes with a Burley Cameras Multi Tool for Pentax 6x7 67 67II. This replaces the thumbscrew key shown below.

Included with every replacement wooden handle is: a key for loosening and tightening the thumbscrews on the Pentax 6x7 67 67II grips and a JIS type screwdriver for removing the woodscrews that hold the end caps on. Pictured: a Chacate Preto handle.

Pentax 67II: the reason why you will want to leave the retaining band on the top end cap is so that you do not forget to replace it before screwing the top end cap back onto the wooden handle! The retaining band will not slide on over the flash sync socket on the 67II grip end cap.
