Making your own ground glass is simply a matter of having the right supplies and having some free time on your hands. I have written a blog about it here. However if you want the convenience of having one ready-made then I am happy to offer ground glass focusing screens with the following characteristics.

1. 2mm approx float glass.

2. Ground to 400 grit. This gives the finest possible grain without having the lens produce a bright spot on the glass. Edges and corners made safe with an abrasive stone.

3. Supplied in a foam lined tin case*. Ideal for storing a backup ground glass screen in your car or camera bag.
